It’s been a while since I’ve updated the site, so I’ll get back to it. We’ve been thinking about Mother Nature.

It’s a bit strange really, because Mother Nature isn’t actually a woman, or a person at all! She is all the natural things around us, from waterfalls to trees and animals.

To start us off, we began looking at poetry. We thought of lots of interesting adjectives, verbs and adverbs to describe natural things.
We started by making our own shape poems.
Here are some examples we found.

Come back soon to see what we came up with!

I thought Chtristmas dinner was scrumptious.
In particular, the roast potatoes were fat and juicy.
Furthermore, they were spectacularly crunchy also they were big and fat.
Although I liked the Yorkshire Pudding, it was crispy, sloppy and dry. Some of it was horrible.
Overall, the mints were minty, fresh and chewy.

Once upon a time there was a hare called Lewis and a bear called Paul. Lewis is cute, fluffy and soft. Paul is big, cute fluffy and soft.

One day Lewis and Paul went in the wood. Lewis jumped on Paul’s back they were in the middle of the wood. Next a snowflake fell on Paul’s fluffy and soft back.

Lewis’ soft ears fell down like a feather drifting from the sky. Paul was going to hibernate. Lewis was so so sad. Paul went to hibernate. Lewis had a great plan. He went to Paul’s cave and left a present there..

On Christmas day Paul saw Christmas, helped by Lewis.

Once there lived a bear that was called Selena she was fluffy and brown and she had a friend called Lily the hare. She was cuddly they lived in the green forest. A frosty cold snowflake landed on Selena’s nose.

The bear was tired because it was nearly Christmas he went to bed. Hare was sad. Soon hare knew the bear was going to hibernate. All of the animals were decorating the green Christmas tree. While the animals were decorating Hare gave bear a gift. Guessed it? What is it? A blue shiny clock.

Nights passed by. Soon Lily took Selena the bear to the green Christmas tree and everyone got presents. The bear and the hare lived happily ever after. the end.

Golden rain might be falling towards me.

Rainbow fireworks ,

Exploding up into the clouds.

Stars up above the sky like diamonds.

Smoky yummy hot dogs making an enormous crowd.

Shiny bonfire is red, orange, yellow.

Children with their mums watching the fireworks.
