We had a look at some of Eric Joyner’s paintings as part of our topic. We like them, but we thought his obsession with donuts was .. interesting!

And the class had their own thoughts on his work..

We’ve started a new topic. Rise of The Robots, and I started thinking about my favourite robot.

Mine has to be R2D2, the lovable little droid from the Star Wars films. I watched them a lot and R2D2 is always on hand to help people out, but sometimes does silly things and makes a lot of strange noises!

We’ve been thinking about Habitats in Science, and we discovered that many living things are very well suited to their environment. A great example is the camel! We’ve been learning about the Egyptians, and their fascinating Hieroglyphics.  Our class were excellent at cracking the codes and deciphering the mysterious messages around the classroom!

I’ve found some things out about India.  It is my topic  it is fun if you do a blog about  India  send a comment!

India is a big country. Some people are rich and some are poor, and it is very hot there. Some countries around India are Nepal, China, Pakistan and Myanmar. The capital city of India is New Delhi.

We  have enjoyed learning Bollywood  dancing!
